Social Sciences Vocational High School Founded in 2014. It has opened programs for child development, accounting practices, office management and executive assistantship, business management, applied English and interpreting, handicrafts, social services, local administrations to train qualified personnel.
Our university has been established with the law number 2809 published in the Official Gazette dated 29.05.2007 and numbered 26536. Since 2007, our university has been continuing education, teaching, research and public service. The foundation of our university is based on the 2-year Education Institute established in 1976 under the auspices of Dicle University. This institute was named Siirt Education School in 1982 and Siirt Education Faculty in 1992.
7 faculties, including Education, Engineering-Architecture, Science-Literature, Agriculture, Theology, Economics and Administrative Sciences and Veterinary Faculty, 3 institutes of Science, Social Sciences and Living Language Institutes; School of Health and School of Physical Education and Sports, Foreign Language School, 3 colleges; Siirt and Regional EL Arts Research and Application Center, Turkish Education Research and Application Center, Scientific Education Research and Application Center, İbrahim About Remote Sensing, Siirt Vocational School of Higher Education, Health Services Vocational School, Kurtalan Vocational School and Eruh Vocational School. Research and Application Center, Siirt and Regional History Culture Research and Application Center, Women's Issues Research and Application Center and Continuous Education Research and Application Center.
Siirt Vocational School was founded in 2002-2003 during the education period affiliated to Dicle University. In 2014 -2015 education-education period, a new structuring was started and Vocational School of Social Sciences started to provide education as a separate and new unit. Shuan has Office Management and Executive Assistance, Child Development, Social Services and Consulting, Accounting and Tax Applications, Business Administration, Local Government and Interpreting Departments in English.
The Social Sciences Vocational School is a central campus and has an advantageous position in terms of social facilities and transportation.
